I do hope she made it and got safely away and I pray her eggs will hatch one day and most of them will make it to the sea.
We have similar turtles in Florida, too, but sometimes the lights from nearby roads confuse them and they head for the light to be run over.
How lucky! This must be a fantastic experience!
