Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time the Chinese invested in a fish processing factory at Pelekula, Espirito Santo, now all that remains is a crumbling wharf and the odd wreck. Nevetheless it is a beautiful place to visit.

Your photos are wonderful which is appropriate for Vanuatu, seeing as it is wonderful.

It seems a little closer when I can check almost daily to see what images are being taken in paradise.

Well it won't be long til we are back again, hopefully for a long, long time.

I still check in on your photos but can't leave comments everywhere. I adore the views, especially after coming back to Paris to cold weather. Keep up the great work.

Terry, Do you happen to know the name of this wreck? It looks remarkably like the 'Anson' which used to carry the waste jarrasite out to see from the Zinc Works in Hobart, Tasmania. I had heard she had ended up on a beach in Santo somewhere . . . .

I will see if I can find out the name for you.

The ship is the Anson, the same from Tassie. It was in the Solomon's and ended up in Vanuatu. The last owner was Paul Harvey. The ship had engine trouble and was never repaired. It now sits in Palakula Bay, Santo where a fishing fleet used to be. Some attemps have been made to float her but to no avail.

Great place with such a great stuff..My friend at aquabot too is a fan of such classy depictions but what the problem is that he has the habit of morphing the images...Anyway I adore your views, especially after coming back to Paris to cold weather... Don't want to miss any of your further upcoming collections...
